The 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning is changing the trucking landscape. By turning the F-150 into an EV, Ford has freed up the area under the hood where the gas engine would typically be and turned it into an additional storage area. The 14.1 cubic foot front trunk, or frunk, increases the payload by 400 pounds, has integrated lighting, and can be used as a makeshift cooler for ice and drinks thanks to being constructed from rubberized material and having a drain hole in its base.
